First Things First
Field Trips are an important part of Fremont Nursery School’s Transitional Kindergarten class. A child’s development can allow him/her to feel comfortable visiting places away from the safety of the school. In the pre-school years children develop understanding of the world around them through interaction with people and real objects. In carefully choosing appropriate and safe places to visit, the teachers can give the children an increased variety of places to explore and first hand knowledge of things talked about in the classroom. No siblings on field trips please; we depend on the extra eyes and hands of our parent drivers. If you are uncomfortable with a field trip, please make arrangements for your child to stay at home. (NOTE: Parents must sign a consent form for
each field trip. Parents/drivers must meet the immunization requirements of a classroom volunteer (see the Parent Involvement tab) complete an Auto Usage application, provide a copy of their CA drivers license, proof of insurance, and a printout of your driving record obtained from the California DMV. Parents are responsible for the installation of their child's car seat in another driver's car.
