our Programs

To be considered for enrollment in the T-Th program a child must be three years old and potty trained by September 1st.  A child in the T-Th program will experience play-based learning of colors, shapes, number sense, phonemic awareness, name recognition, science, music, movevment,  age-appropriate fine and gross motor skills, problem solving, vocabulary and language development, and socialization.

The Monday-Wednesday-Friday program offers children a play-based approach to learning with an emphasis on kindergarten readiness.  Children enrolled in the MWF program will build on the skill and knowledge they gained in the T-Th program as well as focusing on letter recognition and letter sounds, number sense, writing their name, books, stories, poetry, communication, and friendship.  Children enrolled in the MWF program must be 4 years old by September 1st.

A five-day per week program, the TK program is designed for children who are chronologically eligible to enter Kindergarten but would benefit from another year of preschool, and in some cases, children who just miss the cut-off date for Kindergarten.  The emphasis of TK is Kindergarten readiness.  Children in TK continue to work on fine motor skills, writing their name, learning letter names, letter sounds, and letter shapes through the use of Alphafriends and math concepts through many Math Their Way activities.  Our TK students will have the opportunity to go on a number of enriching field trips throughout the year and to learn from Expert Presenters in the classroom.

FNS offers half-day programs.  Our day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m.
