JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN

At the heart of our five-day per week Junior Kindergarten program is a play-based approach that fosters exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning. This foundation supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while making learning fun and engaging. Designed for children who are 4 years old and newly 5 years old, the program introduces key concepts in phonemic awareness, literacy, math, and science. They are introduced to letter names, sounds, and numbers up to 20, with letter blending and writing skills incorporated as they demonstrate readiness. Our experienced teachers provide a fun and consistent five-day program, ensuring continuity and a nurturing environment. With small-group instruction, they tailor learning to each child’s unique needs, fostering growth and preparing them for their next steps with confidence.

EXTENDED CARE

Our Extended Care Program offers a safe, supervised, and enriching environment for children beyond regular school hours. Available Monday through Friday from 12:00-2:30 pm, this program provides time for lunch, social activities, and extra outdoor play. Families can register in advance for the semester and choose specific days to extend their child’s school day. A minimum enrollment is required for each day, and changes or withdrawals require a 30-day notice. Monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month and can be made online or by check. Limited drop-in care may be available based on enrollment. Children attending Extended Care must bring a nut-free lunch from home.

dance

At Fremont Nursery School, we are thrilled to offer monthly dance classes led by Miss Elizabeth, owner of Fancy Feet Dance Academy. With years of experience and a passion for teaching, Miss Elizabeth provides a dynamic and engaging program for our preschoolers. The classes cover a variety of styles, including creative movement, tap, ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Through the use of dance props, and fun music children gain both confidence and coordination. We are so fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated instructor sharing her love of dance with our school.
